            DARING OUTRAGE. – We learn some men armed with guns went yesterday to the house of the late Lieut. Agnus Shaw, about 3 miles East of this town, whilst the family was absent at Church frightened off a negro woman, and entered and rifled the house breaking open trunks, drawers, &c.  They were white men.

            To the ordinary inducements to hunt up and punish the perpetrators of such an outrage, is added in this case the fact that the natural protector of this family has sacrificed his life at Richmond in defense of our families and property.  Catch the villains.  Fay. Obs.
